Abstract

By means of critically inheriting the traditional Chinese and Western aesthetics, Feng Qi formulates his systematic thinking on aesthetics.His aesthetics deals primarily with the following three issues, namely, art, works of art and artist, which are the main topics on the agenda of contemporary aesthetics.The author attempts to display the relevance of Feng Qi's aesthetic thinking to the contemporary discussions.
