摘要:

清末十年间, 上海报刊业发展迅速。其中, 尤为引人注目的是, 民办报刊比重大, 居于绝对的主导地位。作为一种非官方的、制度化的公共媒介, 民报的勃兴, 是报刊经营趋于民间化的结果, 它不仅对此一时期上海公共领域的体制建构产生了重要影响, 而且还使整个社会的舆论表达在传统模式之外又建立起一种新的报章代言—灌输模式。这一模式及其所荷载的公众舆论, 具有独立性与自主性、公共性、批判性等特点。

Abstract:

The print media thrived in Shanghai during the last decade of the late Qing dynasty, and most of them were run privately. They broke the prior official monopoly of mass communications, and not only brought profound influence on the systematic construction of public spheres but also established a new mouthpiece - indoctrinating pattern for the whole society's opinion expression. Compared with traditional patterns, this pattern made it very natural for those newspapers and magazines to advocate the spirit of independence and self - determination, the care for public affairs and a sense of criticism.
