Abstract:

The left and right wings in the French political circles originated in the 1789 Revolution. The traditional right force represented the main trend in the modern French political development. From the 19th century on, the ultra-right political force came into being. It was characterized by extreme nationalism and opposition to parliament democracy. The current ultra-right force represented by the "National Front" led by Le Pan has acquired a certain social supporting rate by means of whipping up anti -immigrant sentiments and taking advantage of the decline of traditional left and right forces. However, the basic structure of French political forces cannot be changed.
