Abstract:
For the Chinese Communist Party, the founding of PRC means that it must carry out the campaign of political socialization both in the countryside and in the cities.As a token of new life in rural society, emancipation played an important role in CPC's building up its legitimate authority.After CPC took over Shanghai, it exerted itself in making the Shanghai citizens have a sense of emancipation.Through the efforts of the municipal government, a ubiquitous feeling of emancipation took shape among the citizens, which eventually led the citizens to identify themselves with and love the new government.It turned out that a sense of emancipation was also very important for a metropolitan city like Shanghai.
