Abstract: Local urban criminal juveniles are different from floating ones in aspects of cultural level, living state,family situation,crime type and so on. From the perspective of containment theory,the cause of the crime of local minors should be analyzed from two aspects,namely,internal factors and external control. Improper family upbringing and learning failure weaken the inherent containment of the juveniles involved, while the absence of social control weakens the external containment of the juveniles involved. To prevent the crime of local urban juveniles,we should improve family upbringing,school education and community service and promote the construction of "juvenile police".
