Abstract:
As the industrially refined and contemporized form of traditional craftsmanship, modern craftsmanship encompasses both manufacturing skills and theoretical understanding and constitutes an organic part of new-quality productivity. Cultivating modern craftsmanship is both a necessary demand of productive forces and a natural result of the historical evolution of craftsmanship, meeting the current needs of the times. Modern craftsmanship is characterized by its explicit structure of knowledge, collaborative way of realization, and a diversified and integrated mode of existence. The cultivation of modern craftsmanship requires a tripartite approach: theoretical knowledge imparted by educational institutions, practical experiences gained through frontline work, and cultural support provided by society. Examining the cultivation of modern craftsmanship serves as a continuation of traditional craftsmanship in a modern context, and clarifying its role in the constitution of new-quality productivity contributes to the theoretical richness of the concept of new-quality productivity.
