Features of Chinese Buddhism

Abstract:

This paper aims to study Chinese Buddhist charactere in the process of long-term historical development. It makes an analysis of the three aspects; the foundation on which Chinese Buddhism exists and expands, inherited Buddha's ayusmat, and finally the lasting and eternal life-force of Buddhism. Therefore, Chinese Buddhism has three important features: common-people style, Dhyana practice and the spirit of perfect harmony.
