The Military Generals of Eastern palace in the Jin Dynasty
    Liu Ya Jun
Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (1): 16-20.
    Abstract1741)   HTML13)
The Eastern palace Military system was constructed in Jin Dynasty. On one side, the Generals of Eastern palace became much more a Military leader than a guarder leader that they used to be. The Candidates for the Generals were selected from aristocratic family and played very important role in politics. On another side, the positions of the Generals were not reliable. They were sometimes canceled. That’s the trait of the Eastern palace Military system’s construction period.

The Modern Transformation of Self-understanding and the Origin of the Problem of Political Legitimacy
    LIU Qing
Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (2): 8-13.
    Abstract1712)   HTML20)
What makes the concept of political legitimacy necessary is a certain form of self-understanding, the conception that the individual is prior to political society. This self-conception of the individual is not “natural” reflection of social reality, but rather a cultural construction that comes into being along with the modern transformation of “social imaginaries” in the West. The origin of the problem of political legitimacy lies in the emergence of modernity. This article is to explore the emergence of the modern self-understanding by examining its philosophical basis and historical condition, and do so in a dialectic way that avoids simplistic explanations offered by either determinism or contingencism. It highlights the specificity of cultural contexts in which the modern transformation of self-understanding takes place and meanwhile explains the logic of practice inherent to the transformation.

On the Theory of Existence- Naught, the Views of Movement-quiescence of Seng Zhao’s Philosophy
    CHEN Hong-bing
Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (2): 58-64.
    Abstract1730)   HTML20)
We should fit Seng Zhao’s philosophy in the social historical cultural environment in which it formed, study the times theme that it faced and replied, study the different cultural resources that it had absorbed and fused. Seng Zhao’s theories of Existence- Naught and Movement-quiescence contain both connotations mainly: Firstly, From the view of Madhyamika Prajna, Seng Zhao put forward the views of "no-existence and no-naught" and "no-movement and no-quiescence", negated the views of metaphysics of Wei-jin, and illuminated the views of "no-real" and "no-move"; Secondly, Inheriting the theme of metaphysics of Wei-Jin, Seng Zhao illuminated the views of comprehending the naught from the existence and comprehending the quiescence from the movement on the basis of the theory of substance-function. Seng Zhao absorbed and fused both cultural resources of Madhyamika Prajna and the metaphysics of Wei-Jin, and promoted the development of the metaphysics of Wei-Jin and the sinologization of buddhism.

Effective Measures to Deal with Inflation, Based on the Empirical Analysis of Asset Market Volatility
    Li Wei
Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (2): 70-76.
    Abstract1792)   HTML17)
We have established a VAR model consisting of price changes in real estate, domestic inflation, money supply and composite indexes of Shanghai security market. The paper systematically analyzes the short-term attack and the long-term impact based on the monthly data according to the two sample periods in china. The results suggest that, in the long run, the real estate price volatilities have not entered the co-integration relation and exert no impact on inflation in the first sample period. While the interaction between inflation and real estate price index volatilities would formulate a long-term co-integration relation during the second sample period. Aimed to control the price level and lower the expectation of inflation, it may be desirable to stabilize the real estate market prices effectively by the means of the various macroeconomic policy.

Price Pass-through Effect of Change in RMB Exchange Rate
    Fang Xiancang He Wenwen
Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (2): 77-82.
    Abstract1924)   HTML17)
Based on the fact that China is a semi-open economy, we formulate pass-through functions of import price and CPI to exchange rate respectively. We further analyze the relation among import price index, consumer price index, competition of domestic market, costs of product for foreign exporters, real effective exchange rate and money supply with VAR model. We reach the conclusion that the real exchange rate of RMB has weak pass-through effect on the import price and CPI. However, the effect of real exchange rate on the import price is stronger than that on CPI, which proves an incomplete price pass-through effect. The costs of product for foreign exporters have positive effects on domestic CPI, which is stronger than that comes from real exchange rate. In the aspect of curbing inflation, therefore, the government should implement exchange rate arrangement with more flexibilities rather than the pegged exchange rate.

Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (2): 83-88.
    Abstract1570)   HTML18)
After the finance crisis, the measure and control of finance risk is on a more important position. The factor analysis and cluster analysis in multivariate statistics are objective and scientific. In order to investigate the risk of life insurance companies justly, this paper introduces the method into its finance system and makes a quantitive and objective evaluation. At last, this paper classifies the life insurance companies by finance condition refer to S&P’s evaluation system, and puts forward different development stratagies for every type.

Usually, people think that Zhang Taiyan’s theory of no-existence is one kind of nihilism. However, such idea is right partly, even wrong. In fact, Zhang’s theory of no-existence is one kind of utopia. Because it is affected by time theory of monism, and it wants to resolve the predicaments with which modern China faced, it has the characteristic of modernity. Such utopia theory has deep basis in Zhang’s unique Thusness-philosophy, and its basic trait is real Freedom and Equality. Meanwhile, Zhang thinks that if we cross the period of nationalism and with the help of spiritual accomplishment method, we will reach such utopia.

The Significances and Problems of Contemporary Chinese Cultural Conservatism

Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (5): 30-36.
    Abstract1604)   HTML20)
The thought of contemporary Chinese cultural conservatism characterized the whole consciousness of Chinese culture’s modern development which shows a conversion focusing from “breaking” to “founding” from one aspect, and this change has its inner necessity. The positive significances are: First, it helps to further enhance the subjectivity of national culture in Chinese contemporary cultural construction, and founding on this to better absorb foreign culture especially western culture; Second, it helps to create a social cultural atmosphere to understand Chinese culture more completely and profoundly, and better critically inherit Chinese culture’s good traditions; Third, it reflects requirements of the time which must concentrate the wisdoms of multi-ethnic cultural communities to solve common puzzles of the “global village”. At the same time, there are also some disadvantages: first is the narrow cultural mentality; second are dogmatism and monism cultural view; third is its weakness in theoretical construction.

Secret Negotiation between Kuomintang and Chinese Communist Party in 1937- With two Lu Shan Negotiations as the center

Journal of East China Normal University (Philosoph    2010, 42 (6): 29-34.
    Abstract1662)   HTML16)
CPC’s proposal of four guarantees for Kuomintang’s third plenary telegraph was originated from the two letters that was telegraphed by the communist international executive committee secretariat to the central committee of the communist party on January 20 and February 5 of 1937. On July 15, “The Declaration of Cooperation between KMT and CPC” was submitted, and the modified four guarantees in this declaration fully absorbed the spirit of the letter telegraphed by the communist international executive committee secretariat to the central committee of the communist party on February 5. The content of the previous negotiations of KMT and CPC in Xian, Hang Zhou and Lu Shan involved the issues of the communist party and the army under the leadership of CPC, the local government and each party’s united front, etc. but the main focus was about the legitimacy of the communist party. Chiang Kai-shek adopted relatively loose strategy in negotiations for the red army and the Soviet government, the main purpose of this was to dissolve the communist party and force communist give up independence. He tried his best to lay aside the “China’s communist manifesto on Kuomintang-Chinese communist cooperation” in order to delay the legalization of the communist party as far as possible. Under the resolute insistence of CPC and the persecution of Japanese military’s offensive attack, Chiang Kai-shek, firstly, orally admitted the legal status of Shan Ganning border region, then agreed to the adaptation of Red Army, and finally was forced to publish the “China’s communist manifesto on Kuomintang-Chinese communist cooperation”. It tells us, from the opposite way, the utmost importance of CPC during the new-democratic revolution stage.

In the organization process in early years after founding of the PRC , a number of social groups to demonstrate a clear orientation of the counter-organization. The pitchmen should be one of the classic. This group had a strong orientation of the counter-organization for financially independence and a high degree of self-organization, at the same time, the social ecology had increased its compressive capacity. In order to organize the grass-roots society completely, the country reconstructed the organizational ecology through social control system, by which the pitchmen had been put into a strong atmosphere of the organization. Thus, the government not only re-organized but also consolidated the pitchmen successfully.

It is needed to improve mode of network embeddedness and strengthen global integration of network resources to enhance China manufacturing firms’ status in the industrial value chain
