施蛰存的自由心性与文艺追求

摘要：

施蛰存内在个性的一个突出特征是他的自由心性。“自由心性”是一种带有审美意味的人生心态, 是一种在生活积淀的基础上, 融情感与理智于一体的个性倾向。施蛰存的自由心性是他传统文化教养、现代思想意识、文艺趣味和个性气质等心理结构的产物, 这鲜明地体现在他的人生态度和文艺追求上。从施蛰存的整个人生立意上看, 自由心性是他热情而不拘执的达观的人生态度的表现, 是他在积极入世的文化作为的背后一道淡远的人生风景线, 他的融“游方于内”与“游方于外”于一体的生命境界, 既有一种人生的无奈, 也包含有一种人生的智慧。在施蛰存既热情执着又淡泊自处的生活中, 我们可以看到他多种个性侧面的矛盾和统一, 而其中有着施蛰存最深隐的本质的东西。

Abstract:

One outstanding feature of Professor SHI Zhe-cun's innate character is his "free disposition". This is an attitude of life with aesthetic significance. It is a kind of tendency of his character, which he accumulates on the basis of his life experience and blends emotion with intellect as an organic whole. Prof. SHI's "free disposition" is also a product of psychological structure of comprehensive factors including traditional cultural breeding, modern ideology, literature interest and individual temperament. It is distinctively reflected in his attitude toward life and pursuit of literature and art. This disposition is a manifestation of his enthusiastic, flexible and sanguine attitude toward life. Prof. SHI merges "roaming around the world internally" with "roaming around the world externally", thus showing his sphere of life.
