西周中晚期君臣体系的变化及其对王权的影响

摘要：

西周时期的君臣体系, 总体呈现出层叠架构的态势。其中, 王臣的存在, 对王权的实现是至关重要的。但到了西周中晚期, 这一君臣体系发生了一系列变化: 一方面, 在体系内部, 用王与一部分王臣之间的君臣关系发生了隔断, 而王臣与他们的臣属之间的君臣关系却得到了进一步加强; 另一方面, 在王官系统内部, 逐渐产生出新的君臣层级, 且与此同时, 个别王臣在王朝中的地位也发生变化。上述种种变化, 从多个方面削弱和动摇了西周王权。

Abstract:

The monarch - subject system on the whole was overlapping steadily in the Western Zhou Dynasty. However, there were still a series of changes about the system during the middle and late Western Zhou period. First, the relation of the king to his subjects was weakened. Secondly, a new monarch - subject relationship came into being. Thirdly, the position of some subjects in the dynasty changed. All of these changes brought disadvantageous effects on the crown.
