摘要：

“农民市民化”的问题往往被视为“城市化”问题的一部分。如果取另一种视角, 以城市社会学为基本范式, 从探讨“农民”与“市民”的属性差异、市民化所涉及的人们生活意识和生活式样的变化等问题入手, 来解释农民在市民化过程中遇到的问题及实质所在, 或许能使我们对中国社会的现代化过程达到更深切的认识。

Abstract:

The question of "how fanners become townspeople" tends to be regarded as a part of the issue of "urbanization". This paper, viewing the question from another angle, takes urban sociology as a basic paradigm. It tries to explain those problems confronted by the farmers who are in the process of becoming townspeople through a study of the property difference between farmers and townspeople, the change of people' s life consciousness and way of life, and the consciousness of urban residents. This may help us to have a better understanding of modernization of Chinese society.
