Abstract:

In his novel creation Sun Li is accustomed to evading contradictions in reality and beautifying real life. Childhood is his potential mental final place for escaping from reality. It can be found from the model of relations between male and female characters in his novels that Sun Li's infatuation of childhood is rooted in a kind of maternity worship hidden in his subconscious mentality, which is also extended to a mother earth cult in his works.
