Abstract:
In the accelerated course of population urbanization since China's reform and opening-up, the urban and rural two-polarized structure has received great impact and meanwhile produced some new contradictions.To a considerable degree, these contradictions are centrally embodied in the issue of migrant workers from farms.It is necessary to pay full attention to the difference effect of urbanization in urban and rural areas when we balance urban and rural development.With great effort we should push ahead with comprehensive balanced urban and rural reforms along the main thread of urbanization, accelerate a healthy development of urbanization along the main thread of balancing urban and rural development, and strive to usher in a new situation of balancing urban and rural development with the solution of the migrant worker issue.
