摘要: 2012年5月31日是第25个世界无烟日。烟草问题已成为当今世界最严重的公共卫生问题之一。为了劝服人们少吸烟或不吸烟,新闻报道中最常使用的就是恐惧诉求的方式。而在《人民日报》六年来的控烟相关报道中,所使用的信息测量类型较为单一,且恐惧诉求的使用水平较低,未能达到最佳说服效果。

Abstract:  May 31st, 2012 is the 25th World No Tobacco Day. Tobacco has become one of the most serious public health issues in the world. In order to persuade people to smoke less or quit smoking, the way of fear appeal is commonly used in the media reports. In the past six years’ reports on tobacco control in People’s Daily, the informing strategies are monotone, and the level of using fear appeal is low, which make them fail to achieve the best persuasive effect.
