Abstract:
The awakening of self - consciousness of anti - feudalism is a distinctive starting point in the new era literature. This awakening is a vigorous reaction to fetters of the ideology smacking of absolute feudalism during the past "Great Cultural Revolution", and also a demand of literary development taking individual creative writing as its life. So far as the conception of literature is concerned, this awakening is a real breakthrough of the millennium - aged Confucian literature. So far as the writing theme is concerned, this awakening is an exposure of counter - humanist actions and represents a call of equal and independent personality. Since the middle 1980s the literary works on anti - feudalism have been getting fewer and fewer. On the other hand, expressing some current Western ideas and "private writing" are in vogue. However, it is still necessary to call forth the "self" of anti - feudalism in the present circumstances.
