Abstract:

The Thirty Years of the CCP written by HU Qiao-mu, was a most influential book on the history of the CCP during the period from the initial stage of new China to 1960's. The book has a positive role and value in politics and scholastic studies, and has some limitations as well. Based on a realistic and scientific attitude, we should affirm its positive aspects and deny its negative aspects.
