The Logical Starting Point and the Key Subject Matter--The Theme of Modernity and Studies of Sociological Theories

Abstract:

The destiny of sociology, since its birth, has always been indispensable to modernity. Although during different periods theoretical viewpoints and research paradigms of sociology vary gready, there are no essential differences among classical, modern and contemporary sociology in the matter of theoretical methods and key subjects. They all focus on modernity, and their research paradigms are also related to modernity.
