Abstract: PostMarxism dissolves Marx's theory of driving forces of social development through identifying the “fracture” between modernity and post modernity, deconstructing texts, advocating pluralism instead of monism, and affirming historical contingency instead of historical necessity. However, it provides a new perspective of driving forces of social development and approves of this theory in its distinguishing “centralism” and “center” and analyzing the late capitalism and culture through using Marx's theory of productive mode and historicism.
