摘要：

民本, 是中国传统社会最重要的政治理念之一, 表达着一种非常好的政治伦理, 却与中国传统社会政治生活中的“官本”——一种非常不好的伦理政治并行而不悖。深入到民本学说之中去考察, 就会发现传统民本学说的内在理论缺陷: 民本的政治伦理所建基于其上的“伦理结构”是内在冲突的, 从而导致民本学说空有美好的政治伦理, 却不可能发展为如何把这一政治伦理落实为政治制度的政制学说。进而, 民本学说的政治哲学天命说及其道德理想主义更是从根本上弃绝了任何政治制度建设的必要性和可能性。

Abstract:

The people-based thinking is one of the most important political concepts of Chinese traditional society. It conveys a very good idea of political ethics, but it runs parallel with the government-based thinking of Chinese traditional political life——which is a very bad ethical politics. With insight into the traditional theory of the people-based thinking, we will find that this idea has inherent theoretical deficiencies: the people-based thinking conflicts with the ethical structure on which it is grounded. Thus it makes the theory of the people-based thinking only an ideal political ethics. It is impossible to develop it into a political constitutional theory of political system. Moreover, the theory of Mandate of Heaven and moral idealism, entirely abstain from necessity and possibility of constructing any political system.
